The 356 meter high gold tower hotel is barely a metre higher than the previous record holder, the 355 meter, 77-floor JW Marriott Marquis, situated at 101 Sheikh Zayed Road, next the 333-metre Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, a previous holder of the record.
The Gevora which will open to guests today the 12th is a gold-coloured 75-storey tower with hotel rooms all the way to the top. It will also have four restaurants, an open-air pool deck, a luxury spa on the 71st floor, plus a health club and Jacuzzi.
