Singer Janet Jackson who has been co-parenting with her estranged husband
Wissam Al Mana, called the police on Saturday night to check on the welfare of her 17 months old son, Essai, who was spending time with his father, Wissam Al Mana.
Jackson was not at the scene at that time.
According to ET, Jackson's brother, musician Randy Jackson, confirmed that his sister, Janet called 9-1-1 after being contacted by a nanny who was helping Al Mana care for the child at that time. The nanny contacted Janet because she believed Al Mana's behavior was aggressive and it terrified her to the extent that she had to lock herself up in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.
However, police found no one to be in danger after a welfare check rather they advised the two parties, Janet and Wissam, to handle the matter civilly.
Janet Jackson and Al Mana divorced three months after welcoming their son.
