 1 Peter 2:13 - 15 (KJV)

13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.

Prayers 

*PRAY WITH ME*

Lord, you have been in existence before anything came to be

That is why you are called the Ancient of Days, the God who never grow old

God, you have been working even before I was born

You have never once be tired nor slumber in your work

You make everything sleep so that their strength can be renewed

Yet you sleep not and does not wane nor grow weary in power

I have confidence in your power, Strength of my soul

I know you will not be tired of me coming to you, my Helper

So I come to you, my Strength

Fill me with your power

Renew my strength for each new day

The battles becoming fierce and tougher

The light of many is dying fast

Strong men are getting weaker by day

Faithfulness losing its saltiness

The joy of salvation is fading away

Please Lord, show me your mercy

That your face may shine upon me

Forgive me my sins — of my thoughts, words, actions, inactions, compromise, and doubts

Set me free from the evil spells that have followed me 

Dragging me to the mud, creeping instead of walking, limping rather than jumping 

Free me from laziness, heal me of weakness

Deliver me from weariness, make me whole again 

All I sincerely want, Lord my God, is to live my life pleasing you, praising you, serving you and loving you

Anoint me, O God, my Saviour, with the power of your Holy Spirit and the grace of salvation

To live above sin and conquer my weaknesses

In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏
