1 Peter 5:6 - 7

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.




PRAYER

We thank you, Lord, for your presence in our lives
We thank you, Lord, for your mercy and your love
Every day we wake up to see a new day
You are the only one who knows what goes on around us through our night time
You make us see what you want us see
You fight our battles and deliver us when the enemies attack us
We come to say thank you, Lord, for your presence in our lives
All of today is your precious gift
Our lives are nothing but the evidence of your goodness
Let today be favourarable to us
Let your goodness occupy our lives through this day
Let us see your greatness in our lives this day, gracious Lord and God
While the evil ones are doing their evils to frustrate us
Let us find strength in your love and kindness to us
You are the pillar that holds our lives
You are the powerful hand that fights our battles
We refuse to be discouraged because we know that all of these will end in praise
Today may look dim but we know you are holding us in your powerful hands, leading us to the place of victory, supporting us with your grace
We thank you so much, Lord, for your presence in our lives
WE break every yoke of the enemies with which they fight us
WE stand together with heaven to counter every wicked plan of theirs in our lives
We claim victory over the day, the noon and the night
You, O God, will be powerfully glorified in our lives today and forever
In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏
